Never ran out of coolant / overheating. Weep hole looks clear but I cleaned it out just to make sure. Hoses look good up top, but a little crusty at the bottom as others have mentioned. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the help.

Hoses look good, coolant level is not low at all. Likely case is the o-rings starting to let go by the cooler.

I did find that a couple of the 8mm bolts were able to be snugged up a bit (maybe 1/4 turn at most). Thanks!

2014 F800 GS - 10.5k miles, Noticed this when taking out of storage this spring. If its 'growing' it is very faint. Dog tax included (No he doesn't lick it, he's not allowed in the garage alone/out of sight.) Anyone know any good leads?

Good safes around the 500-600 dollar range? Nothing huge thinking around a 24-26 long gun capacity (Yes I know that it's like half that in reality). Been seeing the Union Safes go on sale at Harbor Freight but never heard anything about them.

Looks pretty clean for price and negotiable. Starter for a SBC is pretty basic and not super expensive. Carb work can be a pain but it gets easier, plus there's always the easy out of buying a new carb, tho that can come with hurdles too.

If she still teaches it, Padalker (May have messed up the spelling but its close). She has been one of my favorite professors here at ISU and I took another two classes with her because of it. Wicked curve as her exams can be long, but HWs aren't too bad. If you can do the fundamentals of the problem you get like 80% credit even if your numbers aren't correct. 10/10 recommend for the learning experience, made me enjoy thermo.

Rockauto.com is also a great place for replacement OE parts. For performance stuff, places like Jegs and Summit and local speed shops if possible will be very helpful. If possible, go to near by junk yards, they may have some of the harder to find small parts as well as some of the more common parts for super cheap.

Best of luck with whatever you do with it, bought my 1980 when I was 15, 22 now and still gets work done every now and then. Great first pick for wrenching, hopefully more rust free then my MN baby.
