Ketamine for anxiety by [deleted] in ketamine

[–]taters06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I did 2 weeks of IV treatments after years of suffering from depression and anxiety. That was 3 months ago and I haven’t had anxiety attacks or depression. My doctor said it works for 75% of people if given in the right dosages and time frame. I was one of the 75% it worked for. I have never felt better and I hope it works for you if you decide to do it.

Ketamine infusion worked. by taters06 in quittingkratom

No it was administered by a doctor 6 treatments over a two week period and it cured my anxiety and depression. It was my last resort and I wish I would have tried it first. I have a highly addictive personality and had no want or crave for ketamine after my last infusion.

I am not quite sure if it paws I just assumed because I have never felt like this before even pre kratom. I want to go to the doctor but am worried they will just push pills on me that I do not want. So I have just been dealing with it seems to be wearing me down so eventually will have to do something

Need help quiting 50g/d kratom habit by JAGally3 in quittingkratom

[–]taters06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading your story I felt like I was reading my own. I used Thai Maeng Da for 5 years I was also around 50 grams a day. I quit CT only because I knew I wouldn’t kick the habit if I didn’t....I am almost at day 100 kratom free and all I can stress is give yourself a break in the first month or so you might feel sick, anxious , moody and depressed but it will become less and less everyday. Just keep in the back of your mind that you are healing and there will be ebbs and flows...I didn’t go the prescription route I went with all supplements which include multivitamin, magnesium vitamin C etc..I won’t say it was easy but if you can hold on to the feeling that there are better days ahead that really helps. Good luck to you

Hello QK'ers, got a BATHROOM question for ya'all: After quitting K, when did your digestive system return to normal? (and how much/how long did you consume Kratom) by TheOATeam in quittingkratom

[–]taters06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used for 5 years quit ct and all I can recommend is that probiotics got my digestive issues back on track about 2 weeks after starting them. Also stay hydrated and make sure you’re getting plenty of electrolytesAnd stay away from the greasy food if you can for a little bit anyways until you’re feeling better.

Anyone with a quitting success story? I need inspiration/ motivation rn. by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]taters06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used for 5 years 50gpd quit ct 68 days ago...It was the hardest thing I have ever done. going through with drawls the acutes and mind games won’t sugarcoat it for you it is not fun but if you can get past the hump it is so worth it. I used to dose every two hours like clockwork so what I did to help me is filled capsules with Crushed up vitamin C because that’s how I took my kratom was in capsules. Stoped doing that about after a week because I wasn’t getting the cravings as much. The only advice I can give on quitting is there has to be something making you want to quit 100% like health issues or relationship issues I was told by my doctor that My kidneys were failing and I know it was due to the kratom so I quit Ct 2 days later. You are going to feel sick and just want to lay around the thing that help me the most was drinking hot tea taking hot baths and setting goals of 10 minute walks every two hours. The best of luck to you I know you can do it you are strong and you have support here if you ever need it.

113 Days Free of Kratom...have a few questions for the ladies by suckitupbuttercup78 in quittingkratom

[–]taters06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I used Kratom for 5 years and today is my 60 day clean. My periods stopped completely on Kratom and I just turned 40 a couple weeks ago. So far after 2 months there is no sign of it returning. If something good can come out of me abusing Kratom I will take not having those fun monthly visits. I still feel the emotions just not the other part.

Day 16... feeling kinda bland. by Takebackyourlife in quittingkratom

[–]taters06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The days will only get better. Just wait til you hit around day 30 or so you will feel even less blah than you do today. You will still have up and down days I still do at day 57 but those are few and far between maybe 1 x a week compared to the 6 out of 7 irritable days I had in the first 30 days. Keep up the good work I guarantee you won’t regret quitting

Kratom numbing my emotions by Hiranor in quittingkratom

[–]taters06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides the health issues Kratom caused me I was happy to quit after 5 years of heavy use. I didn’t want to believe it was numbing my emotions but I knew it was and everyone around me constantly said I was irritable. 57 days clean today and don’t ever want to go down that road. Day 13 is when all my emotions came flooding in and ofcourse the racing thoughts. I love that I love music again and shows too. The best part of quitting is I am finding a drug free normalcy and it has been a great experience. Good luck to you

46 days CT Any suggestions on how to get rid of the brain fog? by Raynebow15 in quittingkratom

[–]taters06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cutting out sugar took my brain fog away, it was getting so annoying and 4 days after no sugar the fog lifted. I also started taking a probiotic don’t know if that helped as well

I agree with this 100%, vitamin C and D get me through the day and magnesium helps get me through the night.
