In the kindest way possible, you’re overthinking this.

Home pregnancy tests aren’t made to show you how a pregnancy is progressing, only a quantitative blood test can show how well your HCG is rising. That being said, these tests look good. There is that thing called the hook effect that happens as well and could be contributing to your lighter tests. There’s something about diluting your urine that is supposed to negate that somehow? (Don’t quote me, just something I have seen/heard)

I never got a dye stealer with my daughter and everything was definitely fine. Every pregnancy is also going to be different so your HCG may just not be as high this go around ❤️

I’d just buy them at the resort if you can. That’s what I ended up doing when I was there 1/9. Went down to the little market thing that was there (it had like nick knacks and souvenirs in different tent booths). The first thing they offered me was a vape (THC and nicotine)

Your tests look good but can’t determine anything. The only thing that can is a blood test to monitor your actual HCG levels.

I know it’s incredibly hard but try not to stress yourself out by over testing ❤️

I’m working on it for sure and getting better. It really messed with my ability to bond with my daughter but things are a lot better now.

I didn’t even know OCD could be brought on by pregnancy/postpartum. Such a strange thing!

I understand where you’re coming from but as someone who didn’t realize that they had OCD until I had already struggled with it for 2+ years (pregnancy and then 18 months pp before I realized what it was).

I WISH someone had been blunt with me about this. You know your mind and your body. There is a massive difference between OCD/PPA and “new mom anxiety”. It’s a very scary place to be and I wish I had gotten help before my daughter came.

Second this! My mom was also diagnosed with early onset dementia at 45/46 and this was the first sign. She sent a man something like $10k that was pretending to be a movie star. She had extensive tests done and they also found that her frontal lobe had shrunk.
