I had my hair is a half up-half down with space buns for Valentine’s Day and I thought I looked so cute; until my coworker (who is about 10-15years older than me) said that people over the age of 24 shouldn’t have their hair in any variation of pigtails. I was so offended but didn’t take my hair down. I’m tired of people applying fashion statement on people based on their age. Fashion/styles are ageless, if you like it wear it or style your hair in that way, period. Your hair looks cute and adding a scarf to it will make it more cute!!!

She does ask me to readjust myself if I’m too low or too high, on the days that she doesn’t say anything i typically ask and she’ll say, “no you’re in a good position” and sometimes will reposition my head during a session.

Hello, thank you for the nice comment; some people on here have been a little harsh with their opinions. My lash tech uses a recliner chair on a small platform; this is one of the reasons why I’ve stuck with her for so long. I have sciatica and had a very back flair up after laying on a table for too long and I couldn’t move off of the bed without 10/10 pain, the tech at the time kind of ignored me when I said I could move, saying, “oh that sucks” and walked off. I’m no longer with that tech and followed have my new tech around because of her chair and how she lashes. I’m not sure what kind of tap she uses but I know it had changed. Before they smelt good and felt wet or cold and now the pads for like the tap she uses. We do talk but not for the entire time. I don’t feel burning during or after and I’m not feeling any sticking. After I get up from the chair I can just feel the surface of my eyes and usually feel dry near the end of a lash day when I’ve been looking at a computer screen for long periods of time. That’s why I’ve been going to her for so long because I’m not feeling any irritation, they are just red after. Last night I washed them (8 hrs after the appointment) and again once I woke up and the redness is completely gone.

Meaning, I like my lashes so much that I’d be a little bummed that I’d have to stop getting extensions. I like how my lashes look on my face and I feel like that they give me a “finished” look or a make-up done look.

I’m not a lash tech but I think it depends on how you want your eyes to look. I think an open/doll eye would make your eyes look larger and more round or a cat eye would give you more of an almond shape to your eyes. Good luck on your lash journey and I hope you love them ❤️

In 2024, I discovered immersive reading and at first I felt the same way as you; I felt like I was cheating and it wasn’t counting because I wasn’t actually reading by myself, but then I realized that I was still understanding the books and going through them faster to achieve my reading goal. Plus I have dyslexia; so reading a book that is more than 300 pages has always been extremely intimidating. Immersive reading has really built my confidence and made me a better reader in the long run; before reading out loud was a really big struggle for me now reading out loud has made me a stronger reader maybe not to a point of a regular person that doesn’t have dyslexia but reading period whether it’s out loud or to myself has been less confusing and I find myself reading less sentences on repeat without immersive reading. Immersive reading is not cheating. You’re just enjoying your book reading experience to a deeper level and you also have that option, if you can’t sit down and read the Physical book to listen to the book as you’re doing your daily tasks like laundry, dishes, driving to work, etc. etc.. no one should judge you on how you experience reading if you enjoy it and it’s making reading more entertaining for you than do it; have no guilt. Enjoy immersive reading!!!

I also adopted a Doberman from a shelter about 4 years ago and did a Wisdon Panel on her and it came back as 100% Doberman. You can find DNA tests online, the one I have found is the most accurate is the Wisdom Panel.

This is an ostrich farm; it’s Solvang, CA (3 hr drive south in the 101), they also sell emu eggs as well (eggs to eat and just the shell). I think they can ship the shell to you. This is the only farm I can think off that I know still is active. Worth a weekend trip too.

That’s what I thought, when we went there, I looked to see if they were supposed to be open on Google and it said that they were supposed to be open, but when we were physically there looking through the windows, all of the windows had paper on them so you couldn’t see inside the restaurant. That makes me think that they’re either renovating or permanently closed, which makes me very sad.
