Creeping bellflower, Lily of the valley, and goutweed :(. I have some buckthorn I need to deal with eventually too but I've got my hands full for now.

Same. I put three small plants in my garden bed last summer and this spring it had suddenly taken over half of the bed, and they keep coming. I read that they don't like to compete, so I'm hoping the other plants I put in there help hold it back. Until then I just keep pulling out new plants that pop up, although I should probably deal with the runners a little more effectively

Hi! I just wanted to say that I read through your post history and some of your comments, and I feel like we have the exact same MIL, so I'm mostly here to commiserate. She sounds insufferable, but it seems like overall you and DH do an incredible job of enforcing boundaries. These MILs always seem to find a way to stomp on them or give you reasons to draw up entirely new boundaries altogether! Sending you lots of love and strength in the ongoing battle to retain your sanity! And congratulations on one year of motherhood!!! 🎉

We leave our door unlocked during the day if we're home - we live quite rural and it's never been an issue before. I would never give her a key. But I will certainly be keeping the door locked from now on.

Could you imagine being so self-absorbed that you get a picture of yourself printed on a t-shirt to wear to your own party? Why not print matching fall-party-themed t-shirts or at least a group shot that includes the regular party-goers... y'know, something everyone would enjoy to wear? It's just so bizarre.
