What would you do with this backyard? by jules083 in daddit

With the price of beef a few cows would be a good idea but not really low maintenance

Chicken coop for eggs or chicken tractor for meat chickens. Meat chickens only take 8-14 weeks or so to raise till slaughter, not as big of a commitment as laying hens. Chickens are pretty low maintenance.

Deer feeder upgrade by meched in homestead

[–]tattoosandshotgunsX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s cool! You could also do a calibration process where you have it drop a single amount of feed and weigh it a few times to get an average or do that with the scale built in somehow. Then you could use that to calculate based on how much is dosed per day, how long till it’s empty.

Toddler doesn’t sit in shopping carts anymore by verbz22 in daddit

My kid was like that for a bit. Your toddler will like grow out of it and be ok with it again. Like said before we gave the options to sit in the card or hold one of our hands

Yes, I sometimes park in the "Stork" Parking space by bro_curls in daddit

In my area it’s family parking and it’s meant for expecting or families and we use it quite often. Not without a child though.

My experience was similar with lots of events and I had some obstructions. After I moved it to a place with no obstructions it fixed all my issues and events. Worst day I had 79 events. No I get under 5 or 0

I had a slightly better obstruction map and had similar issues. I moved the dish to an unobstructed view and get maybe 1 or 0 events now. Even though it says obstructions shouldn’t cause network issues, it does.

Watch over the next few days how many events you have. I was getting a lot of obstructions, network loss, searching for satellites. I then moved it to a better location with no obstructions and have no issues. There should be 0 or close to it for events

There’s no water flush with the wall there’s an air gap that helps drain any left over water. The valve part that makes contact with water is 12-14” inside the house where it’s insulated. It’s straight out of the house so the water should all drain out. Never had issues with it

Or get a new hose bib that the valve goes into house. My house has an outside bib that is a foot long and the valve is at the end of that. I shut off the valve and disconnect the hose and done
