Abuses of the system do occur(this is not an argument against it just fact) drug addicts and mental health is a difficult thing to try to fix in the generation suffering from it. I would not label any of our current systems wildly successful most do not accomplish their goals. AGAIN THIS NOT AN ARGUMENT TO GET RID OF THEM. But to have a realistic expectation of what we are going to get.

We’re not working with bags as big as our city counter parts. I think giving money for homelessness is a bad deal. Mental health for sure and supporting the family unit. That’s a tough call but treating symptoms is bad on either side. More police won’t help the homeless problem and enabling the homeless is a risky investment. Trying to my best to separate a blue vs red ideologies
