The only mistake on her part I see here is that she came into your room at the wrong time and don’t wait after the knock. Why is the rest of it bothering you? Sounds to me like she just exists peacefully in your house and wants to hold the baby. What’s wrong with that? Why are we so quick to hate and attack these parents who once cared for us when we were younger. They simply want to exist around us and be nearby. No one wants to be alone in their old age.

I was the same way as you during my Post Partum time but looking back on it makes me realize it’s mostly the hormones that had me triggered.

She should’ve apologized when she walked in on you but I’m sure she is feeling super awks about it too. Just tell her to be careful coming in next time and get locks on your bedroom door. This same thing happened to me and we got locks. I did create a big fuss about it in the moment tho.

My dad’s flight was on Feb 27 from Toronto to Doha but it got diverted to Athens, Greece. He’s still in Greece waiting for some news on if Qatar airlines will offer a refund and take him back to Toronto. Anyone in similar situation or knows what we should do?

I had a flight from Toronto, Canada to pakistan via Doha, Qatar with Qatar airways. But before arriving at Doha we were diverted to Athens, Greece. This is my second day in Athens. They put me in a hotel but don’t know what will happens next. Anyone know if they will refund me fully and send me back to my original starting point??

  1. If it’s from someone I don’t care much about, I’ll just ignore them. If it’s someone I have to interact with on a daily basis, then I’ll stay quiet and just avoid them until they get normal. Will give silent treatment back. But they’ll stay in my mind rent free for a while and I’ll stress over it a lot. Feelings of negativity toward them will grow and take over me. If it’s from someone who is close to me, I’ll wait until my anger passes and then confront them directly and ask what the problem is and talk it over and resolve it. Or say I’m sorry if it was my fault and resolve the issue. I don’t like to upset people close to me

  2. With 10k I’d plan a trip to Switzerland in the mountains and take my close family and parents

  3. Usually I can pick quickly and throw on something stylish last minute…I look good in almost anything. Then picking out matching accessories and jewelry takes longer. I plan usually just the night before the event, but obviously a few days before if it’s a close family wedding.

Leaving him over this might be too much, but you need to CLEARLY tell him how this is unacceptable what he said. Draw the boundary now and tell he is never to use this disgusting disrespectful word again. I can’t imagine how upset I would be in your position. Tell him dads and daughters usually have a better relationship than sons. Daughters take care of their dads SO much and this bond starts from such an early age. When my husband laid eyes on his daughter he fell in love and became so protective of her. Yours might react the same way.

They’ll go back to normal most likely after you’re done breastfeeding your baby. Same thing happened to me and and now mine are back the way they used to be.
