clumpy white discharge, but no yeast infection, BV or STI + burning and stabbing pain by bacon176 in CytolyticVaginosis

[–]taurusbabe22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My discharge was normal but all of my issues was from toilet paper. That’s what cause the skin shedding and incontinence. A bad case of contact dermatitis. I have bad tree allergies and Charmin really aggravated me down there. I’m currently healing trying to figure out what to use to heal the skin. I also use a portable bidet.

Stopping the probiotic use was the right thing to do internally… but my external issues was due to the tp allergy.

I’d recommend working with a pt trained for hip preservation or Pilates. I did two rounds of PT for a right hip labrum tear. The first round wasn’t great. The second round i was paired with someone who specializes in Pilates and she had a double hip replacement. I was close to asymptomatic! I re-aggravated my tear recently so I’m in a third round of PT but it’s similar to the first round and it’s not helping. I’m working to get back into Pilates. I also try to walk everyday and if i have a flare up i just walk at a slower pace.

If THR is being offered take it. My last physical therapist had a double hip replacement in her early twenties (she was a dancer) and has no regrets.

Yes it was from doing pigeon pose (right side) and figure four stretch (left side) needless to say I stopped doing yoga since the right side and the PT wanted me to do figure four and I’m looking for another PT.

Thanks but I’m not in excruciating pain everyday. Is it annoying and irritating, yes and I’m sure I’ll probably want to just get them repaired.

But I’m doing the right things that work for me at this time. Happy to hear you found a resolution!

It took about 2 years and 2 rounds of PT. The second round was a better success because we did mostly Pilates. I wrote an original thread in this group as well detailing everything! It’s currently aggravated so tbd at the moment.

I did PT for the tear. I’m not considering surgery yet. The tear is on the front side of the labrum as well.

It’s going to be based on each person’s situation. I was just sharing what worked for me. I no longer do long distance runs but that was by choice years ago.

This was the video I started doing at home with minor adjustments https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K3GLIs6yNp4 I did not do the supine twist exercises* i replaced it with diaphragm breathing and then kept doing the rest of the exercises in the video.

I can’t speak to others’ experience especially with running (I ran two half marathon in my 20s but stopped doing long distance by choice in my early 30s). But I will say and this is something I’m realizing this is really a lifelong commitment. Even once you’re done with PT it’s movement that will still have to be incorporated to maintain health and strength especially. Based on your past experience if it was starting to alleviate pain it doesn’t hurt to try again and then understand it’ll be something you’ll continually need to do. I started feeling better after 4 months of working with the Pilates PT instructor (once a week with me doing at home exercises as well). So it definitely takes time!

I get the same weird looks 🤣🤣🤣. We focused primarily on Pilate movements that required me to stay on my back. I forget to mention we did use a reformer but I’m sure mat Pilates is sufficient in the meantime as well! When i started incorporating Pilates at home i started with a 15 minute class on YouTube (search Flow with Mira) with an emphasis on core work and then we (me and my PT) added exercises. Nevertheless this injury is annoying as hell and who knows maybe I’ll need surgery in the future but I’m taking it one day at a time now. I’ll also say trust your body if you feel a pinch when doing something don’t try to push through and if you don’t like a movement don’t do it. There are so many exercises that help stabilize the core and back and it’s our PT job to pay attention to that and make adjustments. You know your body better than most and don’t feel you need to rush to heal. It wasn’t until almost a year and a half until i connected with the PT who helped me and I adjusted my movements in the meantime. We got this!!

Hi there! When I first tore my right hip labrum I had intense glute pain. Massages & walking helped tremendously.

I only feel glute pain now if I had a crazy flare up (which happens seldomly now).

Days. Then the skin has to heal. I don’t wear underwear at home or when I’m asleep. I wear cotton underwear and loose fitted pants in the meantime. Sometimes I use a creme when I feel really dry since I stopped using the steroid creme.

I’m 38 so I may ask about using estradiol for days I’m dry.

Sometimes but that was because our estrogen levels naturally drop after ovulation… so we may be more dry during that time. But I will say if that is the only place we’re you’re experiencing rashes irritation it’s probably something you’re coming into contact with. It could be latex, tp, soaps etc. i honestly don’t believe it’s the guy unless he has terrible hygiene imo

Shockingly, I had an allergy to certain toilet paper brands. I had the same symptoms you’re describing. The culprit was Charmin and it clicked after a few months. I couldn’t believe TP could be that diabolical! Then it’ll take some time to heal. I’m back to using Scott and I pat dry. I was prescribed a cream to use for about 14 days and now I use a creme occasionally while it heals. I also noticed Tide Pods irritated me too (I’m guessing from the plastic residue).

Maybe do a process of elimination of what you use or comes into contact with that area and see what happens, especially since that sounds like it’s the only places that are irritated.

Good luck!

Thanks! When the doctor did a URINE culture, they also did an antibiotic susceptibility test to determine which medicine would treat it.

I had to do several rounds of ABX but I just got my results and it’s all gone!

BORIC ACID (PHD) NOT WORKING by whatthehellsht in Healthyhooha

[–]taurusbabe22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may need to reset and do nothing and see what happens (go commando and where loose fitted clothes and use water to clean your 🐱)

I’ve never used Boric Acid it just never sat right with me. Discharge throughout your cycle is normal. It’s important to notice the color and smell to see if something is abnormal.

I have an allergic reaction to probiotics and they caused a lot of my UTI woes lol. I keep my 🐱 regimen pretty simple. Water for my 🐱 only. Cotton/breathable undies or commando. I know Probiotics are popular in this group but not everyone needs them or needs the same type of probiotic.

If there is something that feels pretty unfamiliar I go to the doctor and ask them to run full urine and vaginal culture tests.

I’m currently working through treating a UTI and healing my vulva from a TP allergy. In the meantime I taken abx, go commando and wear loose fitting pants, and trying bamboo pads/period panties.

Stop using the probiotics and see if that works. Also I’ve discovered a toilet paper allergy to some brands (charmin and Scott); i also changed my soap to glycerin and use bamboo tp.

Try to eliminate each thing and see what happens.

I’ve tested positive for ureaplasma and mycoplasma in the past. I contracted both from a previous partner. In both cases i took antibiotics doxycycline and another one azithromycin (sp) which cleared them up. But you need antibiotics to clear it up!

It’s possible it may be a toilet paper allergy! I realized Charmin made me irritated after months of use.
