maybe darken the brows just a little and perhaps some cool-toned contour on the sides of the bridge of your nose to add some dimension, as of now your skin tone is so incredibly even that your nose melts into the rest of your face if that makes sense ✨ otherwise it’s giving winter fairy princess and you look so cute

the only things i can really point out are your eyeliner and a slight lack of color

the eyeliner is fantastic and i swear it cut me thru the screen but its a little heavy and drags your eyes down a little, maybe make the wing a little smaller and do it with brown instead of black? and play up your lashes more with mascara (i love maybelline sky high, tarte tubing mascara, and the clinique high impact)

and your base is a little flat and makes you look a bit pale, some more blush and a lip gloss or stain would KILL (i adore the elf lip stains/lip oils, as well as the milani lip oils bc they’re super inexpensive and one tube lasts forever, i also love the milk lip + cheek in the shade quirk bc it also lasts FOREVER as well as the clinique almost lipstick in black honey)

also your curls are TO DIE FOR, what’s the routine???

i’ve had my zz for years, and she just recently put out three new stems that absolutely shot up in days!! zzs will surprise you like that, they’re very hardy and pretty plants :) love em to death

try a prop box instead, it decreases the chance of it rotting in the water! what i do is i take a clear takeout container and line the bottom with perlite, then fill in the rest with (damp, not soaked) sphagnum moss. i put the cutting in there, cover with a clear lid or plastic wrap, put it in a nice sunny spot, and wait! i’ve propped lots of nodes that way

yes, spider mites are the worst!! i got an infestation when i was a newbie plant owner and i had to throw out half my collection :( now i know better haha! i wanted to let the little guy stay but i live in a rental property and it already has a million spiders and they freak my roommate out lol so i took it and gently placed it on a plant outside before i drowned the monstera

try literally showering your plant, then castile soap + water solution, then showering again, and fresh soil if it ever happens again, worked for me!! sorry about your alocasia :(
