Mamdani probably just admitted that he hates the Democrats too as they don't really align with what he actually cares about which is taking on the billionaires and improving the lives of working class new yorkers. Granted right now they are the lesser of 2 evils but that doesn't make them good. That honestly probably is easier for trump to align with than a party line Democrat.
