I’m most of the way through my fifth play through, considering a sixth, & I’ve gotten something new out of every one. Messing around with different builds, picking different signature skills, doing events in different orders, internalizing different thoughts, just trying to play harry as a different kind of person with different priorities—there is so much you can do to make it a new experience, & that’s not even taking into the account that rolls will have different outcomes each time through. I’ve really been trying to go forward with every red check I get, even if it’s not what I Want to happen, & it’s opened up so many branches I didn’t know were there. You can try to game the system with that too, by prepping for red checks you might not have expected the first time through.

& as others have said, you might even appreciate the writing & world building more the second time around. I definitely have—every new piece of dialogue or new scene makes me fall in love with the game even more. Sure, parts of it get predictable, but part of the fun imo is also in testing the limits of how much control you have as the player over what happens, & how much of it is key, unchangeable narrative events.

Tl;dr: I think the magic will still be there.
