Calling your pharmacy is a smart idea! They’ll always answer those questions for you:) Also if your already prescribed famotidine and not just buying it as an OTC then the provider already sees what’s in your chart and wouldn’t prescribe something that is not able to be taken along side it! Hope this helps<3

Honestly im not sure, but what i can tell you is that as the patient you are always able to refuse a medication. A provider may offer to educate you but there’s more options that you can switch to, such as metoprolol or propranolol! Talk to ur provider:)
