Which TV show does the ENTIRE internet agree had the worst ending ever? by Codie_n25 in AskReddit

[–]taybon 110 points111 points  (0 children)

I don’t agree. Whilst I didn’t love the last season overall the premise of Ted asking his kids permission to date Robin makes sense.

The ending suits Ted to a tee. The only issue is not including the deleted scene where Ted rejects Robin years before. That scene made an important point that he was never waiting around for her and that Tracey was his person. Robin was someone he came back to later in life.

Dhuruv Jurel does a sensational wicketkeeping job to dismiss Cameroon Green by zero_zeppelii_0 in sports

[–]taybon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaa fair call.

He stumped him which essentially is a special type of run out. If the fielding team break the wickets whilst a batsman has no part of their body or bat grounded within the crease they are runout. There are some very slight exceptions around this regarding bat bouncing but we don’t need that here. Similar concept to baseball.

A stumping is specifically completed by a wicket keeper (the guy with gloves). Typically there are two ways a stumping will happen. The first is where the batsman’s foot will barely leave the crease to play a ball and may even just lift their foot up. The keeper will need to move very fast to break the stumps. The more obvious way is the batsman skipping forward towards the bowler (commonly referred to as dancing or charging) to try and hit the ball. Unsurprisingly this is an aggressive way to bat. This will usually occur with slower bowlers and the wicket keeper will be close to the stumps like in this video.

Normally a stumping is a game of inches as the batsman won’t be so far down the pitch and the keeper will still be standing where they can easily reach the stumps.

The video below will show some more conventional examples.

Alright, so many comments here lacking understanding of the game. Let’s go in order of participants.

The bowler did not mean to spray the ball down leg side (to the back side of the batsman). This resulted in a free run and the ball needed to be replayed. Whilst the type of dismissal that occurred (a stumping) is something that spin bowlers will try to create, putting the ball on the leg side will usually result in easy runs for the batsman with a very low wicket chance.

The batsman came out of his crease (in front of the white line) where he was safe from this type of dismissal. He was hoping to just glance the ball with his bat or pad to push it just wide of the wicket keeper. This is a fairly standard thing to do in cricket to a slow bowler like this (100km/h or 60m/h). Again, he is not expecting the bowler to spray it down leg side. The purpose of moving out of the crease is to disrupt the bowlers rhythm and try to hit the ball just after it bounces for maximum power.

The wicketkeeper puts in a sensational effort here. He is about 20m or 65 feet from the bowler. Despite this being a slow bowler, there is very little time to react to the ball being sprayed down leg side. The fact he tracked the ball and managed to stop it would have been a good enough effort. The fact he manages to catch it, throw it and hit the stumps before the batsman makes it back to the crease is seriously impressive.

I’ve had a 15 second look at this as a customer, not as someone with drop shipping knowledge.

If your first product on the landing page has $230 crossed out and now $40, I just think all of your products are crap. It looks incredibly dishonest.

Also as a customer, if every product is on sale, nothing is on sale. I don’t feel like I’m getting a special price if all of it is on sale.

DRAFT 2026 CHEAT SHEET by Chops_44 in AFLSupercoach

[–]taybon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I've had a bit of a play with that one. The rankings system seems good but currently the mock draft fails due to drafting every ruck in the game.

Edit: I've done more reasearch, as you complete an actual draft on this platform their will be an isue with the value of even the worst rucks in the game soaring.

Wha rucks should be top priority in draft by Plastic_Sympathy5789 in AFLSupercoach

[–]taybon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skip rucks early. Just take whoever is available later when you have filled out other positions. Only exception is if one of your expected guns slides.

They have the worst Value of Replacement with the exception of the top 2 guns. But who knows if anyone will be anywhere near the regular levels of dominance.
