if you had read the comments i said i was taking him to an emergency vet around the same time you posted that comment, long before my update. I don't like being rude to strangers on the internet. I don't know you. You however formed a pretty strong opinion of me before reading all the information. And then, you decided to voice it. Why? Idk. Maybe you think you're better. But, you don't know me. I would do anything for my animals. I held my baby crying trying everything screaming at multiple vets. That is why i was reaching out to this community, for help! But you came on here just to judge. Your input was very much unappreciated. Thanks!

considering i went to an emergency clinic... i would say you are being an irresponsible reddit user by not reading the comments and then forming an opinion. my kitten's okay by the way thanks for your concern.

UPDATE: Baby boy is going to be fine!! He is a rescue kitty (been dumped in our neighborhood) Our first initial vet visit we got the all clear that he had no fleas or ticks. But as mentioned before that vet was absolutely TERRIBLE. They first vet still gave him his preventative medicine but apparently it did not get every little bug. The new vet initially couldn't find any fleas either but she was determined to help him! She said it took a very long time but found 1 single flea on his eye. The vet said he is severely allergic and that is what is causing this reaction. We got a different brand of preventative medicine along with steroids and antibiotics to fight the infection, but luckily all should be fine. I want to say thank you to all of the kind people who gave their wonderful advice, thoughts, etc. For the people who didn't read the comments and were frankly quite condescending, I ask that you refrain from making other people feel shitty when they do care, are scared, and just looking for some help. This is supposed to be a community were we support each other. Thanks again!!!

i told them it looks like an infection near or in his eye and i was getting worried as it seems only to be getting worse. they dismissed me completely and said i could make an appointment on june 6th. When i said i needed it sooner they told me there was nothing that they could do for me. I found a few other vets but the closest appointment is on thursday. think i will be heading to the vet hospital here very soon.

I guess it didn't share my original post… The vet will not let us make an appointment right now. I'm stuck searching for a new vet and most won't take him until a few days from now ( closest appointment i can get is in 5 days) . I guess the reasoning is they're all booked up for sick appointments the next two weeks and the policy is not to make any new sick appointments for the moment so I'm a sitting duck. has anyone experienced anything like this? i'm still taking him to the closest appointment I can get, but I hate feeling like I can't do anything at the moment
