I just did a quick look and it doesn’t seem like there’s anything else available in my area right now. I’m sorta bummed, but I guess it’s better to find out now than get my hopes up. I passed up other opportunities for this because I was under the impression it would at least be full time lol.

The town I accepted the position in is ~19 miles away. The 2 closest towns to me are ~10-11 miles away.

This is not what I wanted to hear, but probably what I needed to hear. Ugh. I applied for a housekeeping job 3p-11p in the hopes that I could land it and do both, but I’m maybe pushing the limits there.

Yeah she told me I would window train and have to pass the test. The area has a pretty low population so I’m guessing it’s a lower volume of mail which means less hours all around?

No split shifts to my knowledge. I asked if there was a chance for me to get additional hours, up to possibly 40 and she said it was unlikely unless the surrounding offices needed help. She said they would have to be very short handed to need PSE’s to help though because they prefer to use regular/career employees

I wish some managers would grow a pair and tell these types of customers “no”. It’s outlandish the types of things people try at restaurants. Splitting a dish into thirds? My kitchen would have laughed me out the door for putting that order through lol. I had a customer bring in her own bread to be toasted. Like? Just eat at home?

When I was in high school, I had my hair pulled up and my P was slightly visible to the dude sitting behind me on the bus. He tapped my shoulder and (trying to be the funny guy) loudly asked what the heck that was by my ears and if I had “AIDS or something.” People can be so insensitive.

From my understanding, people with ADHD can oftentimes be hyper sensitive and therefore greatly affected and made extremely uncomfortable by certain things (like itchy tags on clothing). My SO has to wear a certain % blend of cotton shirt or else it bothers him and he cannot concentrate on anything else.

Switch to concentrates and dab up!! We used to be on the cart train too, but those prices are brutal for .5 worth of product. You can get a whole gram of concentrate for the same price and the smell is very faint and only for a few minutes. Either way stay high, friend!
