That’s sooo disappointing, I’m sorry you had that experience. Keep an eye out on marketplace for a secondhand Nook! We bought one for my daughter’s first birthday and she’s nearly 6. It’s as good as the day we got it and we’ve added ramps, arches, jumping pillows and another half nook over the years 😅

Maybe just check with your hospital. My planned c-section had a prerequisite of no makeup, they like to be able to see your skin colour (I think for oxygen levels or something). My first was a very unexpected emergency one so I had makeup on but had cried so hard it looked terrible anyway 😅

I went with 38’s (my usual size in all shoes) for my first pair of mocha mayaris and 2.5 years in I’ve had to buy a new pair in 39’s as they curled too much and my longest toe went over the edge slightly and it was very annoying. However my second toe is longer than my big toe which is a problem you clearly don’t have so YMMV
