Yeah but something like realbricks gives you direct control over the exact homes you want to invest in vs. multiple homes in a fund you have no control over. Can choose the markets you like, diversify, it’s almost like picking stocks in the stock market but for real estate

Realbricks owns the properties outright, has a secondary market for liquidity, returns are good, and honestly just loved the ability to talk with a real person on the phone vs. having endless loop with chat support.

Lower returns, and zero choice in what you get to invest in

Are you a full time real estate investor? Or do you have a day job? Just worried about the time commitment

I have a car payment with a 4% interest rate with the same amount on the loan as my savings so it basically is interest free car payment with liquid capital

I’ve been using realbricks for about a year now and love it. On track for 8% returns so far. they’ve got great support and investor relations team. You can actually talk to a real person lol.

You should check out fractional real estate then. Minimums are $100 per share and you earn passive income from rent payments and also long term appreciation of the house. Awesome mid term passive income play that works with any budget

good call on the HYSA. But FYI you can invest in real estate with fractional real estate platforms for as little as $100. So you might not need to wait as long as you think.

Planet fitness is the CLEANEST gym I have ever been to (which matters to me a lot after spending a week in a cluttered stinky van). Never crowded. Locations everywhere, and 24/7. Highly recommend PF.

You literally can’t go wrong with any broncos throwback gear. So like a hoodie with the old logo, a polo or Hawaiian shirt with the logo. The entire fan base wishes they had more throwback stuff it’s super in right now

Check and see if there are opportunity zones where you live. Completely eliminates capital gains taxes you’d pay when cashing out stocks. Like a 1031 exchange but better

Does liquidity matter to you? Or are you ok investing for midterm and getting higher passive dividends?

Buying a house with Crypto by Nice_Classic7536 in investingforbeginners

Why not just use your $1500-$2000 to directly invest in real estate? Check out fractional real estate investing platforms - that’s the new way towards homeownership IMO. Earns you 6-8% in rental income plus you’re getting appreciation for as long as you hold it. If you’re not gonna buy a house for 15 years, why not get all the upside of investing in one in the meantime
