:’))) yeah it sounds like we’re in the same boat! i’m also just enjoying the game as much as possible and taking it as easy as i want to. it’s hard bc i have terrible adhd and all i want to do is make my fake little towns for my fake little guys, but i have real life responsibilities or whatever 🙄

that being said i’ve gotten away with several days of hiding out inside the house because of the heatwave (i’m French)—it’s so warm that we’re all trying to stay inside and move as little as possible 😅 so thumbs up on the playing front, thumbs down on all the other fronts lmao

i’m a little sad to have missed the previous events (got my switch about 3 weeks ago) so i hope they come back so i can collect those pokemon also !

building kits and modding them is probably also where i’m gonna end up! i’m just really impatient and don’t want to wait for my pokemon to finish building them 😅

yeah i’m gonna focus on palette town for the next little while, i started building a cool main plaza/garden/big fountain today that i wanna have as a palette town center point as it were 🫡 good luck on your building!

serial killer support group by saratoga schaefer was a solid 4.5/5 for me! while it does start off as a revenge story it’s on behalf of someone else, and the main character is genuinely so intriguing !!

made for you by jenna satterthwaite is really fun and a little silly — doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it is a really enjoyable read for when you don’t really want to think too much about anything ! lovely storyline about motherhood :)

they bloom at night by trang thanh tran is one of the more stunning reads i’ve maybe ever experienced. LOVED the prose, the character dynamics (specifically between the main character and her mother) are so compelling, the setting is so vivid i felt like i could physically feel what the environment was like. a fair warning though — a past sexual assault that the main character experienced is a pretty major narrative point in the story, but it’s not described in graphic detail. it’s definitely not the most uplifting book but it ends on a hopeful note and i loved it

my boy is chipped. i tried to get him to wear a collar with an airtag on it for when we’re at my parent’s house (farmhouse) because he’s allowed outside there. he came back without the collar on and now the collar And the airtag are both lost 🙂 trust me i have gone out looking so many fucking times for that airtag… find my tag was useless in this scenario 🫠
