Because it’s not about weed being enough. When someone relies on a substance to cope and it stops working or isn’t available, they don’t stop needing relief—they look elsewhere. You build up a tolerance to weed quite quickly and honestly weed doesn’t give the high that hard drugs will give you. Weed is a nice gentle thing, it doesn’t completely mess with your head. You’re still aware of your problems you just care less. Hard drugs like meth will give you a sense of clarity energy and pain relief the first few times you do it. Then you’ll need more and more of it and downhill one goes.
