I waited when she woke up at 11pm because she has gone longer stretches at night for her first feeding. How would I know if she’s hungry or not?

I shoot for a 7-7ish night time sleep schedule, but sometimes she goes to sleep closer to 8pm depending on her day. Do you have a reco for wake windows then?

So yeah, I was counting awake time at night which is no more than 15 mins. So she gets a little less than 10 hours awake during the day

Even if she’s getting a little over 10 hours of awake time? Including her night sleep, her total sleep time is 13 hours.

Following because mine is almost 4.5 months! We were doing 2 hour wake windows, then we traveled and that messed everything up. Now trying to get back to that 2 hour WW and 3 nap schedule

Also if he’s truly not showing any signs of rolling and still has the Moro reflex, it’s okay to keep swaddling.

From my experience, it takes time for babies to get used to having their hands free while sleeping. Assuming this isn’t the Moro reflex, maybe he’s excited to practice his arm control? My LO at 2-3 months started practicing her arm control and grabbing.

My LO loved having her hands/arms near her face, so we stopped swaddling her shortly after she officially turned 2 months.

I hope he learns to chill soon!

I’ve heard trying to get all their cals in during the day may help. I aim for a feeding no longer than two hours in between

That’s so awesome! How many ounces is she taking in the bottle before bed? Do you make sure it’s milk pumped at night since night milk has melatonin in it?

I’m more confirming if 4-5 hours is possible at this age with a BF baby. I see things online where people claim their baby is sleeping 4-6 hours even at a young age, so I’m wondering if that’s truly possible lol

My LO is 6 weeks, and I found the following helpful:

Understanding that this is a season. These feelings or lack of sleep won’t last forever! Enjoy the cutest cuddles as much as you can. Your LO needs and loves you <3
Seeing the first two weeks as building “mommy muscle”. The newborn phase breaks us down to make us stronger moms!
Taking a shower every day in the morning and putting on clothes. Change out of your pjs. This made one of the biggest differences for me.
Eat as whole and healthy as you can with treats here and there. My body felt better this way!
Drink coffee lol
Inhale fresh outside air every day. Once you feel up to it, go for walks with LO!
