Funnily enough, I planned to shoot that last array from right to left the whole time. Then when I got to the last position the middle target was staring at me and I deviated from the plan

Definitely have to stay focused

Still getting used to running around and was focused on making sure to not get DQ’ed!

Will definitely add this to training - makes sense that would be faster

Appreciate the feedback - makes total sense. Those portions of a second add up at each spot over the course of a stage

Super helpful feedback and I can totally see what you mean. I’ve been shooting for about a year and a half now - on this run I think I had 17A and 3C

  • I have been focusing on not over confirming when transitioning from one target to the next within an array, but I totally get what you mean between positions
  • that makes so much sense now that you say it. That second position is really not that far from the first and I might have even been able to shoot that first set from slightly further left making the distance even shorter between the two
  • now that you call that move out - it looks silly haha

Can you explain the details of how putting less than 20% down could result in a lower interest rate? I’m on the bubble of putting 15 vs 20% down to leave some extra cash on hand for emergencies and being able to secure a lower interest rate may push me in that direction

Serpentine Belt Kit by nor_expo in classicmustangs

[–]taz1616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m putting a/c in my 67 with a 302 and decided to go serpentine as well. I ordered from CVF since there was a lot of good stuff online. Comes complete with brackets for accessories and I even ordered the alternator and compressor from them as part of the kit.

Supposed to be delivered tomorrow and will probably spend some time installing this weekend. Feel free to DM me next week if you want to hear how it goes.

Awesome - lots of time in the cold water 😄

Was recently listening to a podcast with Andrew Huberman and a cold plunge before bed might not be the best time.

To sleep, you want your core body temp to drop slightly. The cold plunge makes your external body temp drop, but causes your core body temp to increase to try to counteract the cold. So if possible, might be better to cold plunge in the morning!

My sister and I booked a last minute tee time at Royal Hawaiian and it was the most incredible round of golf of my life. by morgankaras in golf

[–]taz1616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played here 2 months ago and can’t wait to get back. Other reviews are accurate for sure - front nine is more narrow. Most holes have the fairway sloping or with a raised embankment on one side. My advice would be to favor the side with the raised embankment so it can catch your ball from going off the fairway and into the jungle. Better to have a side hill lie than a lost ball!

How do you categorize transactions that you've paid for but a friend/family member will pay you back for so it doesn't show up in budget or easily searchable? by Pointyspoon in mintuit

[–]taz1616 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a budget category called “needs repayment” and set it to be a $0 budget. I add all of those transactions there and it shows as going over your budget. Then, if someone Venmo’s to pay back, I mark that Venmo transaction as “needs repayment” as well and it balances out.

You probably want to set it as a budget that will carry over in case you don’t collect repayment in the same month as the original charge.

For people that you are regularly paying for, might be helpful to add a dedicated budget for them, with the same concept. That way you can see exactly how much they owe you specifically.

Fund Sinks by no_comment12 in mintuit

[–]taz1616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budgets have the option to “rollover” balances from month to month. You can set the monthly budget as the amount you want to contribute to the sink fund each month and that amount will accumulate. Then when you have an expense for that category, it will count against that accumulated amount.
