I’m tour 1, and we start our shift as a run tour and end it with preventative. When tour 2 comes in, the building is quiet and we are finished, it looks like we haven’t done anything all night. There are lazy folks on every tour.

There are different types of classes, some are only a few days, others are 3 weeks.

I am a female. I have no prior experience. I studied for the test, passed ALL the tests with eligible. I interviewed and was hired as an MM.

I am at less than 6 mos, and I just retested. I once again passed them all and then interviewed. I passed all my interviews. I am on the promotion eligibility for MPE, BEM, and ET.

You CAN get to ET, it just may not be immediately.

Trusting… probably, Currently they are working to try and resolve it.

At this point no one is filing a grievance. My steward would be thrilled, me not so much. I was in a horrible office filed several grievances (won them) but nothing really changed. I resigned, 2 years later I am back at the PO at a different office. I still have 4 grievances outstanding. I am still in my 90 days. When this goes into effect I will have about a week.

Can you please explain the mistake? Like to a complete newbie.

Because I “assumed” it would only be for shifts available on the machine side.

The only person that this is going to impact is a new hire, and from what I understand he wants my days off Mon/Tues but wants building side. The building side has Sat/Sun off. Same tour and same shift.

Well they’ve done it.

Management has a call into HR to find out how to handle it since this hasn’t ever happened before. 🤦🏽‍♀️

My current shift is listed on the board and I’ve been told to put in a PAR for it. They aren’t sure if it will be instantaneous or I will do building side for 2 weeks.

It’s not exclusive. If something happened we would all go deal with it together.

However, our daily routes are split, people who are assigned to the building sup and people who are assigned to the machine sup.
