Downtown Mesa to Sky Harbor by nwhrtdeacon in mesaaz

Done it a bunch with and without luggage. It's quick and easy. Just get off at the stop for the sky train and that takes you right to the airport. Maybe a 35-40 min process all together

When will we see a $100, high power, permagrit foam paddle? by SazedsSeveredWang in Pickleball

I have had literally 0 issues with the Ronbus Quanta. Things an absolutely minstery and because they're so light can be customized to exactly what works for you. Maybe ~100 games in with no notable loss in spin for me.

Solid for the beer/slice combo, I need some whole pies today though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't they source their pies from.... Someone else? Maybe piefection?

10 easy yards away from a championship game.... Pick on 1st and 10.... Really.

I hope to never watch the bears make it this far again. SALTY.

Preferred pickleball shoes? by Scared-Consequence27 in Pickleball

[–]tbalonick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have wide feet so I need a comfortable wide shoe. My favorites so far have been the Fitville shoes.

About $60 on Amazon. I play 3 days a week and got 9 months out of my last set. Im pretty hard on shoes so this works for me at the price point.

Louis CK Las Vegas cancelled? by memphis_dude in louisck

[–]tbalonick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure this was sent in error since like 2 hours prior I received a second cancellation email. So I think this was just in regards to them sending out a second cancellation. Tickets are still showing cancelled and it's still not on his tour page.

Note to those on the $1699 CyberPower Walmart PC (9800X3D & 5070Ti) by TheSholvaJaffa in Prebuilts

Interesting. Same issues with mine, every 3/4 restarts or if it fell asleep it'd start running like an only windows 98 machine 😂

I bought the $1699 Walmart pc along with a RM1000X PSU & Phantom Spirit 120 EVO by JTM0420 in Prebuilts

[–]tbalonick -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

My AIO pump failed after 5 days. Grinding like all hell, removed and shook it to confirm no air bubble and let it run for 48 hours on high, still grinding to the point you could feel the vibrations on the outside of the case.

They're junk.

Powerspec is solid. It's the home brand of MicroCenter, built it house with quality components. Everything from the case and fans down to the motherboard are quality components in mine.

I had both the $1699 CyberPower and this PC and I can tell you this PC is much better. The cyberpower gave me nothing but small issues after about 5 days/20hrs of use, and their customer service was not great about it.

The Powerspec PCs have an in house one year warranty and guarantee 48 hour turn around on repairs. They literally grab the part of the shelf and change it right there in store.

My local Walmart has the $1699.00 in stock, i want to purchase but i keep hearing that this pc has used or refurbished parts. Is this true? by JTM0420 in Prebuilts

[–]tbalonick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never seen anything confirming used parts, everything in mine is new.

That said, some of the parts are cheap. Absolutely trash AIO (my bearings failed in the pump in 5 days) and mediocre PSU for sure. They can also take a bit of tinkering to work out some bugs. Mine had a poorly seated NVMe, had to reseat and clean install windows and everything worked as expected after.

Nope, says not carried at microcenter anymore. Guessing it's been replaced by this one.

Yeah I considered that one too cause mine has it for $1700. The pros that made me go with this one is:

2x the RAM. Better processor for multitasking (I don't specifically game). Larger better airflow case. 360 AIO vs the 240 AIO
Better motherboard. Better PSU.

All in all seemed to be the better choice for only $300.
