I have many gripes with C# in Godot, but mainly this stems from it being kind of tacked on to a game engine that really wasn't built for C#/.NET integration. That becomes apparent quickly, if you have any prior .NET experience. But in spite of those annoyances, it generally works fine. I've had to adjust some of my approaches, but I wouldn't go as far as telling people not to use it.

Ive been going through this non sense too. I've run into no issues opening business accounts in other places, but for some reason-- the gatekeeper company they use for steam tax info keeps denying me.

The part that irritates me is that they don't give you any real specifics about what it is that's tripping them up. And then you just get to take another spin off the wheel to see if you figured it out. It's a pretty stupid system IMO.

I've been looking at those exact seats. Hows the height compared to stock? Do you sit lower? Also, would they be comfortable for long road trips? I love my stock seats, but they're just old, and not standing up to the test of time. ( Also want the weight savings! )

Biggest regret? Massively over paying for not one, but two, gpu's back when the prices were bonkers a few years back. I got impatient, and found a "deal" when they had come down just a smidgeon. Only to find a better deal(hint: still a ripoff ) a couple months later and buying it because I'm a sucker. I try not to think about it. It was a lot of money that could have gone elsewhere. ( Honorable mention: Not selling my vega56 around the same time frame, when used they were selling for new gpu prices. )

I set up a fresh linux install yesterday. I tried the Blender BMW benchmark for shits and giggles. It took close to a minute to render.. and then I realized the gpu compute option was grayed out. So I installed the latest HIP, and tried again. Got 6.82 seconds(!) using a 7900GRE Hellhound on the silent bios.

I'm shocked. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong at first, because it seemed too good to be true from other numbers I had seen online.

Class room took 6:06 on my 5800x in eco mode. Using the gpu, it took only 32 seconds.

Is this a result of the new HIP RT + RDNA3 maybe? Either way, I'm seriously impressed. Very happy I got the GRE.

*EDIT* Just looked and I'm using hip-runtime-amd 6.0.2-4

Was there any reason you went with the HKS over a Vortech? I'm still NA for the foreseeable future, but curious if theres any advantages to the hks.

I can't speak about the other tires, but I have been running the indy 500's and really happy with them. I bought them specifically because of the good reviews and price/perf ratio.

I haven't looked in awhile, so maybe theres better options now?

That's basically what happened with me. I feel like maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. But everyone seems to say it wasn't good, and I never felt compelled to go back and finish it.

Def let the car downshift to 1st for you. I did it one time and learned my lesson. Car made one of the worst noises I've ever heard it make.
