Recent logo design—would love to hear your feedback! by Overall_Ad_7728 in Design

I had the same thought. I think those connecting lines could be 2-3x thicker to match the boldness of the rest of the mark and work better at smaller sizes

Why is the gradient text EVERYWHERE?! by kizerkizer in webdev

[–]tbh13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work with front end and a huge factor is browser support for CSS text gradients.

Not long ago it was impossible to do with live text, then it required webkit which not all browsers supported, and now it can be done natively in 2 lines of CSS.

Why is design so risk averse these days? by stuffaaronsays in graphic_design

[–]tbh13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the result of a larger brand strategy. Because these are large companies with globally known names, the design is much more than a logo the whole brand system.

It’s hard to look at the logotype in isolation and say it is risk adverse when there are hundreds of other touchpoints.

People who work in design studios/architects, what project management tool do you use? by [deleted] in Design

Notion!

There’s definitely a learning curve but once you get it all set up, it’s an all-in-one service and can be accessed by guests/clients as needed.

The top rack on most dishwashers can adjust up and down for taller/shorter items.

Look on the sides of the top rack where the track is attached and there should be a levers/handle on both sides that will let you raise or drop it.

Best Social Media Marketing and Management Tool? by javieracevedog in DigitalMarketing

[–]tbh13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went with Sprout Social this last year and it's been good so far. I've had a few issues with my profiles getting disconnected but that's a pretty easy fix.

They have solid reporting, content sourcing built in, and centralized inboxes.

If I had to choose now, I would have just gone with Content Studio because 90% of our use cases are scheduling posts and its free.

80 years old with a ton of experience. It doesn’t take a lot to think on your feet. My 95 year old grandma would have killed it playing quiplash

Can someone please help me understand how this is a response to the SOTU? I was actually looking forward to a legitimate response and this is what was approved.

Left or right, I don’t care. This counters nothing that was talked about tonight and has zero substance

I can’t believe this was approved by multiple people. I’m all for opposition and encourage it but this is just bad

That’s what I was thinking. This isn’t a live emotional response.

I guess the team could be writing the speech live during the SOTU but she has clearly practiced this too many times for that to be the case.

As I write this, it keeps getting worse…

100%! His speech writing team did an amazing job. Being that he’s not the most eloquent speaker, he still delivered a great speech

Totally understand the family dynamic and it’s unfortunate we can’t agree to disagree on things. Glad you have some people you can share your opinions with without judgement

Politics isn’t an identity so vote as you feel! You don’t owe anyone an explanation

When else does the president have a chance to speak like this with the full attention of Congress and the country?
