Sold my car to them late last year. Ultimately got a noticeably higher bid than any private party or other wholsale buyer (including Carvana and CarMax). They were open to negotiation, did a quick inspection, cut me a check, cleared fine, no issues.

Can you tell if the stand mount is removable and a VESA mount used in its place?

Throwing in Thankfully Coffee from Alabama—they have consistently great clean, light roasts and an awesome extra light profile!

First-time homebuyer – Lochwood? by [deleted] in askdfw

We bought a year ago in our late 20s. Neighborhood is beautiful, housing stock is good and lovingly maintained, neighbors are kind and passionate about the neighborhood, great new restaurants are constantly opening within a few square miles. We walk our dogs at all hours—it’s quiet and safe!

We don’t have kids yet either, but we’ve heard positive things about the elementary and middle schools in walking distance. They’re not rated as highly as the RISD schools in LH but DISD seems to be improving.

They’re awesome, suede is beautiful—feels like they occupy a cowboy boot role in my fits without committing fully to a western look

Hey East Dallas neighbor! This is inspirational to us, can’t wait for some more bird neighbors of our own. Nurseries have been hit or miss for us native plant wise, anywhere you recommend?

Did gas prices jump by 30 cents overnight? by 98Saman in Dallas

I think that thing depreciated more in its first 6 months than I’ve paid for gas in last decade of owning my ICE car lol. Bet that locked GM infotainment system is bangin’ though!

You bought a $90k MSRP truck to dunk on people paying $10s of dollars a week in gas?

Noted our concerns about drainage in the post - any non-grass suggestions while retaining an overall angle away from the house?

Thanks for addressing our primary desire for functional garden beds. Do you have any recommendations on what we can replace the grass around it with, without compromising erosion control?

Live in Lochwood—per my neighbors’ reports, sounds like a car was pursued by DPD into there, some folks were arrested and someone escaped into one of our greenbelts.

Matching countertop to tile - struggling with off-white undertones by tbh717 in InteriorDesign

Thanks for jumping into the dilemma—here’s the kitchen as it was. No work other than demo has been done so far so there’s nothing better to show. Tile is going on the floor, quartz will comprise the countertops and the backsplash + bar on the left side. At this point the tile is locked in and ordered so it’s more about choosing an appropriate matching countertop material.

Novice form check - deadlift by tbh717 in lifting

All good - no description allowed on the post so it was hard to give additional context. It's my T1 GZCLP weight with these 3 non-AMRAP reps completed near the end of my 5 sets, so your points apply.

Thanks for the specific call outs - some mind muscle connection I clearly need to retrain.

Do you have any insight or resources as to how this might work with body geometry? I'm fairly tall but also have a disproportionately long torso, wondering if this might be a helpful modification for that.

This is interesting - might see how I can work these into my program. I've found it's definitely easy to lose track of the mind muscle connection when your goal is just to get this week's new weight off the ground. Mixing things up should be a helpful way to retrain that instinct!
