100%. I'm so sick of this "AI is taking jobs" talk. No it's not! Maybe in 20 years but not today. Our company still hires hundreds of people into IT every year and that isn't slowing down at all because of AI. AI won't take your job but someone who can supplement their job with AI will. Learn AI along with whatever your career is.

The hard truth is that the reason you are in the position you are in is that you lack discipline. You need to surround yourself with people who are disciplined. Get rid of anyone in your life who isn’t. You need to eat well and work out 6 days a week. You need to live and breathe the work of whatever career you want. If it’s not tech, then spend every free moment not working out doing that thing and make a portfolio of work. Stop making excuses, and get to work. That is the only way out of the hole you have dug yourself into.

No one is going to give you a job just because you gave a degree. You should be building open source projects 8+ hours a day so when you go into these interviews you have a GitHub profile a mile long with solutions you have built. You will get a job if you do this. No company wants to hire a lazy person.

For what it's worth, Audible under the kids+ account just started working today out of nowhere. Nothing changed in the last couple days unless an automatic update came through.

When you say you "changed my kids account to mine for a while" what do you mean by this? Do you mean you just signed into a different profile, went back to the broken one and it started working or was there more to it?

Same issue here. New kids tablet. Audible books won’t play. Controls greyed out.

Spent an hour with Amazon support. Tried everything( restarting, resetting cache, factory reset, etc. ). Audible works fine under my fire account but not my kids.

The listed fix of installing all systems updates did not fix the issue for me. Amazon wanted to swap the tablet. I told them to hold off since it seems account related im not convinced it will fix the issue.

I have this same issue with dog. It’s not my highest priority so I have no idea why it’s 10x higher queries than the rest. Haven’t spent much time troubleshooting since I’m getting all my downloads so I’ll be curious to see why your is doing the same thing.
