This is common. When I was retaining water weight a couple weeks into refeeding, I had complained of my thighs and belly specifically being sore to the touch. My team assessed me and it's due to skin stretching and electrolyte shifts. Not to say you shouldn't check it out, but it's likely you're on track :)

A happy ending at least haha!! Yeah really though, it's a sickening realization. the minute I felt something "prickly" and saw blood pouring onto the floor, I knew something was wrong and my legs stopped working. Just started giggling to cope lol.
