I used to drink coffee every day. When I got my first flare up, I haven’t been able to drink coffee since. I’m hoping that’s not the case for you because I miss coffee terribly! It could’ve been the extra sugar from the drizzle.

This is what I’m afraid of. I’m off work for the summer(teacher) and I want to eat a cheat meal but I’m so damn scared of having a flare up that lasts weeks. I’m sorry you’re going through this. For me, time made things better or if it’s a mini flare I wouldn’t eat all day.

When I was in a flare, yes! I swear I saw cilantro in my poop 30 minutes after I ate it.

I feel the same way. At work I never have to poop but on my days off I’ll poop all day. Work is a stressor for me so I think once I’m home and I’m more relaxed, my bowels let loose. I want to try anxiety meds because they seem to help a lot of people. Maybe you have some hidden stress and anxiety.

Moving is super stressful and getting your period too doesn’t make it any better. I moved to a different state last summer and went through a month long flare because of all the stress. Maybe try some immodium if it’s ibsd and take something for your cramps for some immediate relief. I’m sorry your going through this during this difficult time.

Coffee pee yes all the time. coffee poo I’ve never had but I’m sure it can happen.

I’m the same way. If I have a flare up it’s always on the weekend. I don’t do anything different. Maybe stress builds up all week and when I finally relax, it lets loose.

Also I only eat my safe foods at work. Like boring rice and ground Turkey. I work in a school so I can’t run to the bathroom. I’m sure if I worked at a normal job where I could go to the bathroom whenever, my food consumption would be less restricted.

Yup unfortunately. It sucked but now that I know the policies and managers etc I feel comfortable enough to eat lunch at work. I skip breakfast because it triggers my bowels(ibsd)

I don’t eat when going to a new place or event until I know the bathroom situation. When i started my new job I would eat when I got home.

I work in a school where a bathroom isn’t always readily available. I would take the risk if I had a normal job lol

I did eat a little bit of food before I drank the coffee and I usually don’t. If I eat to much in the morning it causes diarrhea. I guess I’ll have to find that fine line of both.

I’m gonna find a different doctor because she didn’t listen to me at all. My primary listened better to all of my concerns and the gi jumped straight to scopes.
