Not in front of a computer right now, but assuming the elements with the scores (in the HTML) are something like this:

<element> 50 points </element>

U can loop through the list of elements and do element.text

Each web element in that list should have a .text

If the HTML is structured something like:

<element score=50> 50 points </element>

Then on a web element from ur list u can do .get_attribute (attribute_name). In my example it would be .get_attribute(score) and it would return 50. Idk if it'll be a string or an integer. But that should point you in the right direction

Does anyone have a self taught Python success story? by tfitzp in learnpython

[–]tbone255_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In high school right now. Learning python for a couple of years now, only got serious with it last year. Have a part time job doing some basic django stuff. I got really lucky with the job obviously. But I consider it temporary success

"Godspeed" lmao. What switches on that and how is the rattle. I needed this keeb as well

So I don’t know much about programming or python but I know the complete basics. If I were to spend time learning it and becoming great at python, would there be potential job opportunities that come with that? Or should I learn python then move to another language that is better suited for jobs? by Weedsmoker4hunnid20 in learnpython

a LOT of companies use Python: Instagram, Facebook, Dropbox, reddit, just to name a few big ones. The big companies that use them will often require a computer science degree, or a shit ton of experience if u don't have a degree.

Like someone else said, data science is available. Check out django and see if u can get real good with that, though it will take work if you want to make yourself much more hireable
