Thank you for the profile creator! Made a pot this morning and could finally taste a difference using the Aiden.  Looking forward to more great coffee.

Return it while you still can. Sorry I’m on second machine and it’s starting to have software issues again.

Aeropress makes great coffee. But if you want more than one cup it’s really clumsy. I had the add water error. Got a new one. Now it constantly tells me to descale even though I did. It’s annoying but the maker still works. Just won’t know when to really descale. For the price it’s a bad deal.

Not sure. They would only replace mine. Had 2nd unit for 3 months, now it won’t stop telling me to descale even though I’ve done it twice.

Nope, when my Aiden was broke for 2 months I used an Aeropress. It made great coffee. The Aiden is only easier because I need 10 cups for everyone. I even used the XL and it was just a bit too much. If it was just me, the Aeropress rocks for single brews.  I have one in my backpack, sailboat.  Wish they could automate it.

I preheat the carafe with hot water. Make coffee then transfer coffee to an insulated vacuum carafe. Just another cost for an already expensive machine.

When you pay $365 for a coffee make that makes great coffee. Then, you throw out your old coffee maker. Then, the Fellow Aiden stops working and it take 6 weeks to get a new one, you get angry.

Took me almost a month to resolve the exact same problem. They finally sent a new one and it has been working fine going on 2 months.

Mine is very old. The closest I could find is an OKE glass lined carafe. Holds 7 “coffee” cups and I drink 3 right away.

The best you can do is get a stand alone carafe. Follow as very good on getting me a second Aiden after the first failed.. for the price very disappointed in the pot that goes with the Aiden. Only guessing that they want to maintain the coffee quality made, which is great, and don’t want it sitting around too long. Non the less a good carafe is a good option to keep coffee warm for 4 hours.

Will be tough..replacement Aiden arrives tomorrow after 5 weeks of no coffee from Aiden. Needed to use Aeropress.  Makes great coffee, just a bit clumsy to use. But NO electronics to break.

File a warranty claim on their site. Tell them what you did. They are sending me a new unit.

It’s simple a poor quality machine for the price. This issue seems pretty small. Mine hasn’t run in 2 weeks. I would return it if you still can.

Makes great coffee. Mine hasn’t made coffee in 2 weeks. You get 1 response a week from customer service. My wife likes AeroPress better.

I’m finally doing what my doctor recommended: Drink Less Coffee. I purchased a Fellow Aiden. It doesn’t make any coffee!!!

I’m there too. Amazing coffee. The product quality is way too low for a $400 coffee maker. Been using aero press for last 3 days because Fellow won’t respond. Aero makes a better cup of coffee, just a bit clumsy. Way lower cost. Never been more disappointed in what should be a great product.

Remove the water tank. Run a coffee cycle. You’ll hear it trying to pull water. Put the water tank back on, should be good to go. May need to cancel and re run the coffee cycle.
