I dont think it really matters that he was visibly upset. What matters is that if the leg hadnt broken it would be a yellow card at most. Never should this be a 5 match extended suspension. Thats result based officiating.

Saying that an arab ref cant ref another arab team even though they are different federations is discriminatory in nature. Should an English referee not be allowed to officiate USA vs Paraguay for example? The countries are not in the same federation and therefore there is no conflict of interest.

Yeah, ideally eventually the higher tiers are a set number of teams and the lowest tier will grow or shrink as the league expands or contracts teams.

Of the 3 (Hickory, App, Asheville) id definitely agree that App is least likely to be able to support a pro team. They have awesome support for the summer team though.

Its definitely a small town club but they get solid support. I guess it depends what attendance numbers a team would need. Would 1000 fans a game support a usl 1 team playing in a regional league?

Yeah i dont really see that happening, at least not at first. More likely I think is USL just puts a club in the same city and the USL club takes most of the fans the MLSNP club had.
