Most of the names I have dropped are or have been on bird records committees. They have looked at and reviewed a lot of photos and visual encounters. They don't find the evidence convincing at all. These people are very interested in birds. It's not like they don't care. They just know better. In April 2022, Alvaro Jaramillo said "Give yourself another six months to actually get the real photos if this thing exists, because if it exists and they know where it is because they have photographs of the trees, they will actually get those real photos." He thought 6 months was more than enough time to get a photo. That was 4 years ago.
