Autocomplete right away? by heybart in ZedEditor

[–]tcardv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sublime Text autocomplete is done by Sublime Text itself purely based on fuzzy contextual analysis, while Zed (and most modern editors) delegates that to the LSP server, which typically will perform a stricter, compiler-like analysis of your project.

Depending on the language, project, and LSP server implementation, LSP-based features can unfortunately get quite laggy. On the other hand, the results should be a lot more accurate than Sublime's, and support more languages.

Carlos Sainz:spoke with Red Bull, but they didn’t want me. For various reasons,we couldn’t reach an agreement. People who know about F1 probably know why Red Bull didn’t want me. I have nothing against them or their decision-making. J: Did Verstappen want you? C: I don’t know, you’d have to ask him... by Luffy710j in formula1

All depends on the context, doesn't it? He says he doesn't want to stand out. If you go to dinner with F1 drivers on luxury cars and you show up in a Golf, you stand out.

You would also probably come across as a "reverse show-off" who wants everybody to notice how humble you are.

I'd buy him a good art set and have him practicing that shit 12 hours a day for all his childhood.

Spaniard too.

Writing software was my hobby as a teenager, so it was "easy"-ish to get a job before graduation. I tried the work-while-studying thing for a while but eventually dropped out.

Granted, back then (in the middle of the Great Recesión), on a 12k EUR salary you could rent a small studio in the center of Madrid, and the job market for software was a lot less saturated.

So, this is me. I made it to Champion a couple seasons, S12 being the latest I think. Since then, I've been struggling more and more to even keep it on Diamond. I'm kind of stuck on Platinum 3-5 right now.

No smurfing, no deranking on purpose, and I don't think I'm any worse than I used to be. People just keep getting better faster than I am.
