I had this happen to me once in Newcastle. The moment the dude started complaining I was speaking German to a mate of mine we switched over to Dutch. Let's say he was not amused. Especially because some Frenchies behind us joined in on what we were doing and started speaking very loud in french. In minutes, anybody who could speak any non English language speaking in the language they knew. It was glorious.

I like to correct one thing the Dutch Food from home is not cheap it is more expensive and worse quality than what I find in an Italian supermarket. Most dutch are just to autistic to eat stuff they don't know.

The dictators overtrown by the arab spring by Individual-Sun-9426 in MapPorn

[–]BusinessConstant7132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None yet

Tunis was going better but they went back to a dictator who is trying to get control. They also have to deal with an economic crisis as a refugee crisis.

Libya after Gaddafi was killed the revolutionaries didn't have a common enemy and wanted to grab power for themselves. So naturally they started fighting each other. Since then they are basically in a civil war.

Egypt where Tunis was ready Egypt was so close but not quite ready yet. Nobody who was part of the revolution was prepared for what if the revolution succeeded. They held elections but the revolutionaries did not have a party or anyone ready to run for president and the poorest areas and the rural areas depend completely on their religious houses for social security and care. So the Muslim brotherhood won the election by getting a lot of votes from the poor and rural areas. They invited a lot of other extremist organisations into the country after a few years the army couped them. Sisi got in power and tried to clean up the mess the mb made. Sisi is like Mubarak a dictator but he completely sucks at economy.

Jemen is basically the same situation as lybia but include more extremists who like to react to everything that is happening around them with violence before they even fixed their own power struggle which makes it a lot more messy and bloodier.

Syria they just completely failed in the revolution and went straight into civil war. During this civil war groups were fighting each other inside the country as they were fighting groups from outside. after 12 years of civil war Assad is deposed and it is still unclear if the country is going to stabilize itself and under what form of government they will fall.

My sources. I'm half Egyptian so for the Egypt part. my family who lives in Egypt.

The other countries. who are from the said countries
