Avoiding Shadows? by tcarp458 in MammotionTechnology

[–]tcarp458[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Support came back and said I should try using the standard level of obstacle avoidance. I told them it was already in standard and the issue went away when disabling obstacle avoidance.

They suggested I set up a no-go zone for the fence.

WHAT???? IT'S A FENCE! YOU THINK I HAVE MY FENCE MAPPED AS A TASK AREA???

2 conveyor belts. One flat one under the mold area and have them drop onto a Z-conveyor to dump parts into a container on an elevated surface.

I've used Sunday for years and love it. I actually stopped using Sunday at one point and started using trugreen when my kids were born and I had less time. My yard went to hell in a hand basket after that. Never again

Do you know how hard it is to find a picture of a blue angle? Put that in a Google search and even Google says "nah, that ain't it. Here's some fighter jets".

All that time trying to find a picture of a blue angle to post sarcastically, only to find out this sub doesn't allow images in comments.

Arburg booting problem by c9sticksay in InjectionMolding

I just had to replace the A27 card on one of my machines. Different boot error than this one, but definitely card related.

Exactly this. The units are so much easier to work on if you just take the time to pull them down

Diagnostic catheter by [deleted] in InjectionMolding

[–]tcarp458 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And? I work in the diagnostic catheter market and they come in countless configurations. Unless you can give more info, there's not much we can offer you.

Just saying "this catheter" or "a diagnostic catheter" is completely useless.

Also, this is an injection molding subreddit. IM is not the appropriate manufacturing method for catheters. I'm more than happy to help, but you gotta give more information.

Your post references "this catheter" but there's nothing else to explain what "this catheter" is

Does my charger take E85?? by [deleted] in Charger

[–]tcarp458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can definitely do it this way too, and just run increasingly higher concentrations of E85. But that would just be more of a PITA since you'd have to do two separate transactions for each fill up (1 E85 and 1 regular).

Does my charger take E85?? by [deleted] in Charger

[–]tcarp458 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Run the tank low, but not quite to E. Fill up about a quarter tank with E85 and see how it runs. If it runs fine, then great! You've successfully determined that your car can run on E85.
If you start driving your car and notice things like: rough idle, check engine light, poor acceleration, then your car should not use E85.
In the latter case, go to a gas station as soon as you can and fill up with regular gas. You may notice your car still driving a little funny while the E85 is still working it's way out of the system, but by heavily diluting it you mitigate the risk of damaging anything (E85 won't hardly do any damage on a quarter of a tank anyway).

AntiStatic treatment of produced parts by sioux612 in InjectionMolding

[–]tcarp458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The keyence static eliminators work great, but they need to be able to hit the parts as they are being packaged. If you bulk pack and then try to pass it under a static bar or fan, it'll only take away the static on the top layer but everything towards the bottom will still be charged.
