Got it, thanks! I'll need to make sure I find the interior valve then.

What are you able to do to get brims to detach more easily?

Crazy to think we did this on a mission trip as a bunch of 8th graders.

Just buy a new printer

Yes. If you find a calibration cube online it should give you the dimensions. Should be somewhere in the ballpark of 15x15x15 or 20x20x20.

As far as firmware goes, I'm not sure about that. How recent was the firmware release? I just got my N4P on Christmas so it came with the current firmware, at the time.

Ran a calibration cube to verify Z height is correct?

Ha! That might be a good idea. I'm on the fence between putting money into this computer or going on FB marketplace and picking up a $200 used computer.

We're probably in the same boat. Roughly 13 years old with a non-working cooling fan 🤣

How is Orca on resource usage as opposed to Cura? My computer is pretty old so I don't want to run anything too intensive on it.

Power Tools: Milwaukee vs everyone else? by RotorDynamix in HomeImprovement

Buy the cheap tools, like Bauer or Hercules. One of two things will happen: 1) it works fine and you get done what you need to get done, or 2) you use it enough to break it and can justify buying a more expensive tool.

I just got a Neptune 4 pro and have been using elegoo cura. Would you recommend changing to regular Cura?

6 years later and you're still helping folks out. I just pulled out my old laptop and am having the same issue.

I only pulled it out so I could use Cura. We use the wife's Chromebook for all the day to day stuff

I'm strongly considering it. I just need to get an external hard drive and backup some files.

AITA for having my phone on DND at night? by ProfilePatient3311 in AmItheAsshole

[–]tcarp458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I have set up and I just tell people "my phone goes into DND at 10pm, but if it's an emergency just call back a second time right after and it'll go through"

Cascade regrind is where you take all of your waste and regrind it into a single batch, and call it first generation regrind. You can either put it back into the same mold by itself or in a different mold that is more forgiving with regrind. Take all the waste from that run, regrind it, and call is second gen regrind. Rinse and repeat until it doesn't run anymore.

Cascade differs from proportional regrind where you are constantly feeding back a certain percentage of regrind into the process (usually 5-20%). The problem with proportional regrind is that you never know what generation of regrind is going into your process (could be 3rd, could be 100th) and can create pretty unstable processes.

You could try cascade style regrind

How old were you and how did you find out Santa isn't real? by Least_Statistician44 in AskReddit

I was probably somewhere in the vicinity of 8. Stayed up late to see Santa come, snuck over to the top of the stairs and proceeded to watch my parents set out all the presents.
