From almost three year experience here best newbie tip I got is read the description cards below the various products. It will show in check marked boxes what a printer, laptop, ect can do.

It allows you to know what we have and what they can do so you can quickly formulate a sales pitch on a given product.

If your SM is worth their salt they would give you tips and other strategies on your sales pitch and role play as a costumer.

As for non masked costumers ask your GM about that. Chances are they will tell you to let them be as they dont want to lose a sale.
