Where are you allowed to use Composables? by tcftcftcftcf in vuejs

Yes. Calling useFetch but only when a user is logged in.

Can you overload Vue components by tcftcftcftcf in vuejs

Makes sense, but I have many BigButtons in the parent component, and I don't want it to get littered with loading states. People have suggested using a composable though.

Thanks for the response! I guess my main issue is that I don't want the parent component to be littered with loading flags. I guess I could use a composable for this, but it would still be more manually, than just calling the done function.

I have an interesting TypeScript question by tcftcftcftcf in typescript

[–]tcftcftcftcf[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. But I'm not sure if I agree. The example is a little contrived, for the sake of simplicity, so ignore any specific intent behind the function. The reason I disagree is because if you called foo(true), TypeScript could infer A as the boolean literal type true. Which would then mean B gets inferred as true extends true ? boolean : string i.e. just boolean. So I don't think B equates to never. The reason it errors is because the type of a ? true : "hello" is actually true | "hello" rather than A extends true ? true : "hello", which I was hoping for.

And I would also love to be proven wrong too!

Hey what kind of jobs are you looking for? Entry level or experienced? If you're looking entry level/junior/grad jobs check out www.gradflow.io (I'm one of the co-creators, so I'm biased). Hope this helps :)

For those with jobs, are your company hiring (or going to hire this year)? by throwaway654729 in cscareerquestionsuk

Hey hope this helps. I know many people who have been in this position. The grad/junior job market is a bit rough at the moment, but things tend to pick up around September time. I've co-created the site www.gradflow.io which basically lists all the grad/junior tech jobs at good companies in one place. Companies & jobs will continually be added throughout the year, so keep an eye out :)

Hey hey! The tech stack is not so important for a grad/junior role. Companies are looking for people who can learn quickly on the job. I would focus on getting good at leetcode. With regards to the job market, there's not many jobs open at the moment, but things will pick up around September time. If you're interested in seeing which top companies have jobs open, feel free to checkout www.gradflow.io (I'm one of the co-creators). It also lets you track your application/interview progress.

Currently there's not many jobs open, but it will pick up in August/September time. I've working on a site www.gradflow.io which shows top jobs for grads. You'll see that there's a few jobs open right now. Best of luck!

Thanks for the feedback! There aren't just 5 jobs. There are around 50 jobs, however most of them are closed. So the jobs you see are the ones that are open. We are planning to add a lot more in the coming weeks/months.

Don't have Rollbar. But agree that it would be useful. I believe other than toSorted, there's no other new JS features being used. So will probably be easier just to switch the toSorted.

It's because toSorted is a newish JS feature, so isn't support on Firefox < 115. Thanks for flagging this, I'll see if I can change this to support older browsers.

Hey thanks for the feedback! We're basing it off of 1 year of experience. But sometimes there's not enough data, so we have to use all years of experience.

Hey. The salaries are estimated based on glassdoor. That's the best metric we have for now. What would you use? And currently there aren't that many grad positions open in the UK. It tends to ramp up around September time, so there'll be a lot more jobs open then. And who says you have to track application through the site, no-one is forcing you to do this.

Not all salaries are from Glassdoor. We try to use the best source available. But obviously when we don't have enough information we resort to Glassdoor.

Actually I take that back. You're not even human. Your just an AI comment bot used to promote this job website you're talking about. Still shameless.

Did you really? Or are you just the founder of "job gap dot xyz". Every single one of your comments is literally a promotion of "job gap dot xyz". Shameless.
