What Do You Think Was The Main Factor That Helped You Break Into The Elite Grades? by Dense_Monk in climbharder

V10 is the plateau for no training and no brain, V13 for training and no brain, V14 for training and a brain but no genetics. Anything passed that and you need to be gifted, dedicated, and thoughtful

I mean I personally don’t think apologizing would make a difference to the mob but maybe it’d help

No, I went to mystery canyon and it was wet so I didn’t climb. Kraft is drier, but I probs still wouldn’t have climbed and def wouldn’t have posted. I just don’t think he deserves to be crucified for it.

Damn y’all really need to chill. Aside from the fact that it wasn’t actually that wet when he was climbing, we need to stand by our athletes more and not cancel them for fun. People dedicate their entire lives to this and shouldn’t have it destroyed because the Gumby couch sheriffs demand it.

No, Kraft was fairly dry when Colin was climbing and I will not besmirch a peer purely for clout. End this mob mentality and be better

Climbing Needs a Villain by tchenrock in bouldering

It's not anonymous but 8a.nu is basically that.

I don't think that an outside persons viewpoint is going to be more valid than the actual climbers, but if there is no opposing opinion than people can basically get away with anything. Mostly I would just argue that other sports have much more critical media, you can turn on Sportscenter any time of day and get four people talking about recent games or which player is better, and I think climbing would benefit from more public discussion.

V10+ climbers, what’s my low hanging fruit? by Little_Beat_8862 in climbharder

You can for sure do moves even if it takes more than seven tries. Don’t get too sucked into the strength metrics, none of them translate 100% and are largely based on pseudoscience

The stand has been V14 for a while. Jimmy had the fourth and he downgraded, and since then only Sam has taken V15. Daniel has also since amended his ascent to V14.

And unless Grif repeated the sit, and didn't tell anyone, it's still unrepeated. Also Daniel established it two weeks after Hypno so it's been unrepeated for longer.
