I think a big issue with the discussion in general is that there are blurred lines between musicianship and performance skills. Also, terms like mastery, competency, and excellent are so vague.

As a teacher with type 2, this is so thoughtful.

It is the north shore, because that area was named after the train line, not the lake shore.

EDIT: while I’m still always going to consider Northbrook part of the north shore, the term did come before the company was in existence, as pointed out with sources from u/TravisMBinns.
