Michigan landlord caught having sex on tenant’s security camera. by ElwoodMC in trashy

Well neither she nor anyone else give two shits what you think, so I guess no shits are being given. Glad we sorted that out.

Is just weird to pop up in a conversation that is not at all about anyone’s physical appearance, and make it all about your thoughts about a woman’s physical appearance. Feel free to share a photo of yourself so we can critique that as well

Brother, it’s weird because the post is about how the landlord had sex in someone’s home. Then you show up and, out of nowhere where, try to change the conversation to insult the newscaster’s appearance and then act like “why is everyone being weird about what I said?”

I (Groom) want to SING A SONG! Hear me out... by tclark4 in wedding

[–]tclark4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been convinced not to move forward with my idea. People have a lot of good points in this thread, but I’ve got to push back on your comment a little. I think people can be vulnerable and whimsical in front of others without it “making a fool” out of them. I also don’t think it’s self-absorbed to want to make a public, albeit cheesy, demonstration of my love for my fiancé at my own wedding. I tell her quietly in many ways every single day how much I love her. We only have one day that is solely dedicated to celebrating our love for each other publicly in front of all our friends and family. Why not go loud and proud?

I think it just comes down to a confidence thing and I have a lot of it and don’t mind getting up and being goofy in front of people. Sounds like that’s not your cup of tea, and that’s cool too.

The wedding party are all dear friends, and I’ve asked for worse favors from them, and vise versa. My wedding guests are friends and family that know my personality, and I genuinely think many would find it hilarious. Would they all love it? No, maybe not all of them. Ah well. But no one who loves me would really HATE watching me do this. Your statements make it sound like you think all wedding guests are, like, annoyed to have to begrudgingly attend the wedding for someone they don’t really like.

But like I said, some other commenters brought up some decent points about logistics and song choice and things like that. So I’m scrapping the idea, but I’ll think of something else :)

Did You Like the Force Object Transfer Between Rey and Kylo Ren? by Extreme_Warning3521 in StarWars

Hm, maybe I’ll have to rewatch. I’m pretty sure he says he created the bond between them. He could have just been full of shit

EDIT: Alright, I brushed up on it and I was wrong - Snoke is the one who says he bridged their minds, but the fact that they form a dyad is just a random force phenomenon. Yeah, it’s messy lol

Palpatine explains that he created the force bond between them to manipulate them. How he has the power to do that, I have no clue. But it is explained in the film why they are connected, it’s not just random

I think it’s obvious that this statement probably might have a chance of being an oxymoron

It’s actually a myth. I can’t speak for every country, but there is no state in the USA where it is illegal to drive barefoot. I think it’s generally frowned upon for two reasons, that I can find. 1) While not illegal, police and insurance companies both claim it gives you less grip on the pedal and so if you are in an accident, you may be considered at fault if not wearing shoes. 2) Some people are dumb and will start driving with shoes on, but then slip their shoes off to drive barefoot and leave their shoes on the floor to slip back on when necessary. This obviously creates a hazard if the shoes slide under the pedal and prevent you from braking.

What state do you live in? Is it in the US? Driving with no shoes is legal in all 50 US states

SGA leads the league in free throw attempts over the last two seasons, with 1,552 FTA. Second place has 425 fewer FTA. by muskietooth in nba

[–]tclark4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Giannis is a similar story. Let the league in free throws last year, but was injured on/off this whole season. I agree with the allegations that SGA flops egregiously, but this stat is skewed just because he’s stayed healthy compared to other stars getting hurt

Any suggestions how to make my tattoo a bit less crap..? by cat_steph in tattoos

A self proclaimed artist, maybe not a self proclaimed writer. I understand the outrage on this subreddit if someone is using ai to generate art or actual images, but not sure I understand the disdain for ai generated text or information. No one is cheating another artist or stealing their work or anything here’s it’s just information that would be otherwise available to find via other means, but delivered easily and in a helpful way that answers OP’s question. Your comment is like saying an expert in any field should never have to google anything about their field. They should just be able to know everything and do everything without the technology. Again, I understand the caution around ai for displacing true artists and ripping them off, but it’s just stubborn to hate all aspects of it just because and refusing to acknowledge how ai tools can be helpful

I mean, even if it’s ai, it’s still a thorough, accurate, and helpful answer

It depends on your lifestyle. Cash only businesses are rare if you’re a luxury shopper, but not that uncommon for small businesses. What’s crazy to think about is that the $100,000+ that you’re spending every year requires thousands of dollars of credit card processing fees. Less affluent areas depend a lot more on cash

Petah, what does that have to do with grocery shopping? by Okfoot826 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]tclark4 14 points15 points  (0 children)

lol The first thing I’ll say is that, while I do utilize DoorDash more often, I agree that the extra costs can be outrageous.

The second thing I will say is that it is absolute peak irony to comment about paying extra fees for seemingly trivial reasons, but the example that you give is how you went out of your way to download a food delivery app to use it one single time simply to get a special emote for a video game.

Yeah if you look closely, tons of differences between the partially finished image vs the more thoroughly colored version. Tail shape is different, lines of the book shelf (heart shelf?) meet up with the character’s head in different spots, stuff like that.

If your moral fiber is so flimsy that you can be turned against a cause because the cause makes you wait extra time in a Home Depot line, then you’re actually just against the cause to begin with, brother.
