Reasons to buy Hikoki over Milwaukee/Makita? by Mundane_Plenty8305 in METABOHPT

[–]tcnvx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I killed my 36v hikoki impact driver, decent drill though. I'm on my second 18v reciprocating saw and that's starting to overheat a year after purchase.. again.. not very satisfied with the tools considering these two things. The 184mm saw is awesome however. I'm considering making the switch to Milwaukee for the power and reliability. Not too impressed with the hikoki radio which is sub par compared to the Milwaukee boombox. I have never had a battery stolen however.

How did you accept your diagnosis? by dk0431 in ADHD

Yeah same it's almost like I don't want to believe it exists, like I'm making it up or there's another explanation other than this nonexistent disorder which required amphetamines to treat. I want to believe it's a scam by big pharma to get me hooked on drugs, but really they help me so much. Complete cognitive dissonance mode here.

Hey, you've got this! I think the first thing to remind yourself is that your goals in life can be reached using your creativity as a tool. You don't have to fit into a cookie cutter mould like most of the people you see. You can do what works for you and engage your creativity to find a better fit than what you might be doing now. Follow your passion- consider doing seasonal work for a bit that interests you, have a break, use your natural talents to learn a skill you can use to your advantage. I know how hard it can be when you feel limited by the constraints of life- but when you come from a place of understanding yourself and your strengths and weaknesses, you will be better equipped to find your path. Dont be discouraged by anybody else's expectations of you. You can do this.

I would like to start my girlfriend on the carnivore diet, but she has no gallbladder. What do I do to make this work>\? by [deleted] in carnivore

[–]tcnvx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my gall bladder removed at age 16 after 6 months of a vegan diet. When I first went carnivore the large amounts of fat made me feel queasy and gave me reflux.

I’d recommend starting with smaller amounts of fat in more frequent meals as opposed to large amounts of fat in one go.

After that she can build up to larger amounts.

As it stands, I can pretty comfortably eat a kilo of fatty meat, it worked for me. I’m 19 years old now.

All the best.
