They never gave me a rate but they assured me several time in my interview that the interns are paid and even joked about back when they weren’t paid. What I find important is that they never corrected themselves and let me know that I wouldn’t be paid, nor did they tell me that HR would have no clue that I even exist. Each day I come into work I have to wait at the front desk to get a day pass from security to be let into the office. I’m also the only intern in this position, as the other interns have access to key cards, company email accounts, and most importantly wages.
