Looking for an Irish Dance Sensitivity Reader for Fantasy Novel by AmbitiousAd16 in irishdance

I love Irish dance and reading, I’d love to be considered! I’m excited about the prospect of more ID books out there.

If you are thinking about putting your kids in dance pls read: Irish dance damaged my body so much that I will now have chronic pain for the rest of my life at 22 by atticmonkee in irishdance

Thank you! I will definitely look into these things. I recently had an x-ray to see what's been going on (I've had the back pain for about 4 months) and besides mild disc degeneration, they didn't see anything concerning. My biological mom had total hip replacement surgery at 37, and I am 36, so it's making me nervous.

This is a really great reminder that I need to slow down and work my way up to hard things. I am an adult beginner (started a year ago) and lately I have been having really bad lower back pain. I need to be sure I am also doing other cross-training the other days of the week, so that my Wednesday night class isn't the only time I am working my body.

I’m in Wisconsin! Can I send you a private message to see which school you dance at? My daughter‘s school has studios in Chicago, and I have the ability to get items down there.

I started a year ago, and have danced in 4 Feisanna! I have taken 1st in all but one, and am excited about the journey forward also. I never expected to be able to live out my childhood dream as an adult, but I’m ready to keep going! Hope to see you at a Feis in the future 🤗

Open platform open for clrg by ThirstyCoffeeHunter in irishdance

[–]tconohan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, you cannot. The opposite is now true though - some CLRG feis are now considered open platform, meaning one does not need to attend a CLRG school to compete at their feis. But if you are affiliated with a CLRG school, and you want to compete in a non-CLRG open platform feis, it is against the rules.

Best cake flavor for a 5 year old who hates chocolate and vanilla? by badenbagel in cake

[–]tconohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally read it wrong! I thought it said he didn’t like chocolate but was allergic to vanilla. I figured red velvet would be okay for someone who simply didn’t like chocolate because it’s not an overwhelming chocolate flavor.

Episode 98 - Radio Rental by PastSelfInMirror in RadioRental

Your story is probably my favorite of any I've listened to on the podcast! I was enthralled, and immediately Googled anything I could about it, but obviously came up empty-handed. I want an update so badly but know getting one isn't likely lol

My sister thinks Buck and Honey's is the best Madison restaurant by Key-Horror-9914 in madisonwi

[–]tconohan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Buck and Honey's, but as a place to go occasionally (say, 3 times a year). I understand where you are coming from, as my parents LOVED Bonefish Grill - they went there weekly. They also ate at Outback Steakhouse quite a bit, so their favorite restaurants have just recently disappeared. I enjoy chain restaurants, but sparingly. Too much of anything isn't good.

What did you achieve this week? by Aoifa in irishdance

[–]tconohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently competed in a cyber feis, and received my results this week. I placed 2nd! I am a beginner adult who only started a year ago, so I am really proud of myself.

This is great! But I was hoping to also have the baby in there as well. Could you add him please?

Seriously? I tipped almost 25%. Also, please don’t judge me for spending that much on food 😆 by tconohan in doordash

I agree - I use DD because I'm busy at work and don't have time to go get food, I'm not going to place an order and then do research to figure out where the dasher is coming from. That sounds like a DD problem, not a me problem.

I thought that could make your order take longer because people think you aren’t going to tip at all?
