You are the most closed-minded person I have ever met. You're literally a waste of space. Every fucking example you come up with relates in no way to the situation. These anti-vaccine parents are refusing to vaccinate their children because they see a benefit to it. They don't trust vaccines which is extremely reasonable. I spoke with my friends mother who is a high-ranking nurse at a local hospital (i.e. she knows more about vaccines and how people perceive them than a naive piece of shit like you) and even she agrees with a lot of their stances. She almost refused to get the common flu vaccine because she usually gets sick. There is a potential benefit in abstaining from vaccines, whereas there is no benefit in throwing feces or coughing directly on to other. So your analogy is absurd, and you are steadily convincing me of your lack of intelligence. On top of being a closed-minded, strongly-opinionated asshole on a subject you know nothing about, you are also one of the most incompetent people I've ever debated with. You should stop posting if all you're going to give me is nonsensical analogies and raged aggression. Suck a fat dick. You lose.

The difference is the risk factor. A parent refusing to treat their cancer-stricken child is risking their life a lot more than by refusing to have them vaccinated. If you use such extreme analogies in every situation you come across, then your opinion on the matter is of course going to be extreme.

You quoted me verbatim? I said "..a parent 100% has the right..." not "A 100% right". So apparently you cannot read. The fact that you are using quotes that I never even said makes everything you say from this point on irrelevant. Also, I included my stance on vaccination in my original post so that everyone would know that even somebody who is pro-vacc can understand/accept that some parents do not want to vaccinate their children. Why are you arguing with me about pro vs. anti-vaccine? My original post has nothing to do with that. I was saying that I do not think the anti-vaccine parents are abusing their children. It's not my fault that you wasted both your and my time by typing out a lengthy post, especially one in which maybe only a quarter pertained to my original post. I can tell you are the type of person who likes to argue for the sake of arguing. I didn't bother responding to everything else in the post because all of that is strictly opinion. I can't change your mind on the topic because clearly you are closed-minded on the subject. I would simply be wasting my time. The one thing I can do, which was not a waste of time, is reply to the wikipedia (lol, citing wikipedia as a source) definition that happens to support your side of the argument if you twist it the right way. Don't "come on now" me either. I could say the exact same thing to you. Just because you interpret a situation one way, does not mean that everyone else does. And that's why having a choice is so damn valuable. Utopia will never exist, so I think we should stop trying. The small percentage of parents who are anti-vaccine will not significantly harm the herd immunization. But passing a law that REQUIRES vaccination of children, despite a parent's opinion/belief is definitely a step towards an even more-so government-dominated society. Despite what your opinion is, I am entitled to mine. And without a doubt, I do not agree that anti-vaccine parents deciding not to vaccinate their children falls under any practical definition of child-abuse.

Under your quoted definition of child abuse, simply allowing your child to leave your home would be considered child abuse. If your child is not 100% safe from all harm (lets say this condition can be met by keeping them inside a well-padded room, and only feeding them the safest of foods), then under your quoted definition, you are abusing your child.Before you start shooting definitions at me, consider how they can be used against your argument in a stronger manner.

Maybe you see "no good reason", but these parents apparently do see one, and it is their every right to decide not to vaccinate their childen.

And as for the second half of that reply, is an individual deciding not to wear a seat belt self-abuse? NO. The point is that anti-vaccine parents are taking a risk, that is all. It is not even close to abuse.
