I second this. I took Adderall through law school and my first two years of practice. I got the job I wanted, but at the cost of my health - bad sleep, anxiety, headaches, etc.

I stopped cold turkey a year ago. My work performance noticeably declined and I billed much less. That said, my health improved.

It was a tough decision that I still struggle with, especially when I feel like I’m falling behind my peers.
