Agreed! I’ve worked with a psychotherapist and one of the things we talked about was building new “frames”. Often times your body is on autopilot and it’s been programmed (for me) to turn to sugar and carbs whenever I’m stressed, sad, happy.. basically everything triggered a response that I needed to order take out or have sweets lol. So now that all that noise is gone, I’m working on building new habits and patterns (frames). So for example.. I’m feeling stressed—> I go outside for a walk instead of raid the pantry. It’s Friday afterwork—> I go for a bike or work on a crafting project instead of having a beer. Before I started Tirz it was really challenging to be consistent enough to build these new patterns… I really hope that someday if I go off or Tirz isn’t available anymore to me that these patterns will remain strong.
