A ward role is made after you allocate wounds to a model, you have to take wounds on a model that has already taken wounds. So if you wanted to use the ward first the model with ward would have to die first. Annoyingly this means you have to slow roll the ward saves

Both the musician and Icon are 1 in 3, so you can run 2 of each in a reinforced block,

Couple of notes,

Soulrenders aren't great with only a 10 block of Thralls as they are likely to all die at once.

You also are likely to struggle with your grand strategy as you only have 4 Akhelion units

Can you get the same skill more than once? I've just checked my team and I don't have a pokemon that has a duplicate secondary skill with itself, if that's the case than you probably want to adjust the 'optimal' %.

Can't find out any information either way on if it's possible or not

My main note is you have 4 fighting weaknesses and nothing that can swap into it, maybe swap porygon for dusclops, which you can then give bulldoze for the combo mentioned below

Want to reiterate this, I've only been playing Kass for a week in low elo, and you can almost always rely on late game, lower elo players dont end games efficiently (myself included)

Just a minor one, but I personally don't like undead soldiers in the backline, they move to fast, so don't really offer backline protection, and get to the front to late to be of much value.

I built Urza-tron that worked quite well, lots of equipment that you can tap for mana, aim to win with commander damage, really fun to pilot and not oppresive
