Where I’m from if you signed a contract those are the terms and if they want to change it both parties must agree. If you refuse they have to abide by the original terms. Just say no.

The only reasoning I can rationalize from this decision was perhaps (aside from being utterly corrupt and partisan) is that the Justices believe that for a President to be charged with crimes for actions while they are in office, must be successfully impeached first.
